This account allows unlimited check writing with no minimum monthly balance requirement. It includes a FREE VISA® Debit Card, FREE ATM withdrawals at any Severn Savings ATM or 37,000 ALLPOINT™ Network ATMs nationwide, FREE online and telephone banking and FREE check images included with your monthly statement.

Student Checking (free Checking)

This account is designed specifically for individuals between the ages of 16 and 24. Student Checking account holders are given the tools and opportunity to safely learn the skills to ensure a stable financial future.

Our Student Checking account has no minimum monthly balance requirement and no monthly service charges. It includes a FREE first book of checks and FREE VISA® Debit Card, FREE ATM withdrawals at any Severn Savings ATM or 37,000 ALLPOINT™ Network ATMs nationwide. FREE online and telephone banking and FREE check images included with your monthly statement. Plus, one waived non-sufficient funds charge per year.

For account owners under 18, account must be held jointly with a parent or guardian. Debit card must also be held jointly with parent or guardian. Certain account restrictions apply.

Chesapeake Bay Benefits Checking

This account is an interest bearing checking account allowing unlimited check writing. It requires only a $20 minimum opening deposit, and there is no monthly fee with a $1,000 average monthly balance OR $5,000 in combined deposit average monthly balances.

Like all of our checking accounts, this account includes a FREE VISA® Debit Card, FREE ATM withdrawals at any Severn Savings ATM or 37,000 ALLPOINT™ Network ATMs nationwide, FREE online and telephone banking and FREE check images included with your monthly statement.
