TELLERS NEEDED!

We have immediate openings for a full-time teller in our Annapolis West St location. The hours of the positions will vary Saturday-Friday with a minimum of 35 hours weekly. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, servicing bank customers through handling banking transactions accurately and efficiently in the branch as well as over the phone. Candidates must have previous cash handling experience, excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude!

Senior accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team.  The qualified candidate will possess a BS degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5yrs of accounting experience working with a bank.  The position will focus on reconciliations, reporting, financial analysis, financial statements,TFR (call report) preparation, reviews and budgeting.  This professional must be well versed in MS Office Word and Excel, as they will be performing all of their analysis and reporting using these programs. 


MORTGAGE LENDERS:

We are seeking top Loan Officers with a successful track record to join our team.

Requirements of the position include:

  • 3+ years of experience with mortgage origination
  • Proven track record and existing relationships or book of business
  • Proven sales ability and excellent communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of products, requirements and regulations, particularly FHA/VA
  • High energy, impeccable work ethic and attention to detail

You will be calling on existing or potential customers as assigned to develop new business or retain existing business. You will also work directly with real estate agents to assist them with financing needs.

HEAD TELLER

Severn’s Westgate Branch is seeking an experienced Head Teller. The Head Teller is responsible for the overall supervision of branch Teller staff under the direction of the Branch Manager. Accurately and efficiently process a variety of daily currency transactions. The Head Teller is also responsible for processing vault transactions and operating a teller drawer as needed. Must follow established company procedures and policies. Qualified candidates must have at least 1 year of teller experience with satisfactory performance reviews. Also requires work experience in customer service and cash handling. Incumbents are required to complete an internal training program designed to familiarize the candidate with Severn's teller duties and bank operations. Must demonstrate the ability to learn and operate on-line teller terminal, ability to proficiently count currency and coins. Requires skills necessary to operate general office equipment such as a personal computer and 10-key calculator. Ability to solve problems that may be technical or complex and require collection, interpretation, and analysis of data from diverse sources.
